Two important chemical industry conferences are coming up in September 2016. These include the 2016 Prop 65 Conference and the 2016 Green Chemistry Conference. These chemical industry conferences will both be hosted at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco, California. Details of the Upcoming Chemistry Conferences

The Green Chemistry Conference has the following full sponsors: Sidley Austin LLP, and Hunton & Williams. The supporting sponsors include the American Chemistry Council, Sustainable Furnishings Council, Center for Environmental Health, California Retailers Association, the American Herbal Products Association and others. The Prop 65 Conference will be taking place on Thursday, 15 September 2016 and the Green Chemistry Conference will be taking place on Friday, 16 September 2016.

International Regulations and the Supply Chain

The Green Chemistry Conference is going to focus on the regulatory changes that have taken place with regards to TSCA legislation. The conference will be chaired by Benjamin Dunham who is a senior policy adviser with Holland & Knight. He also acted as a senior adviser to the erstwhile US Senator Frank Lautenberg. Other issues that will come up for discussion include compliance standards post-Brexit for the European Union and the United Kingdom, regulatory proposals on a circular economy, and other legal issues pertaining to China. The core focus of the Green Chemistry Conference is on how regulation will impact upon local, regional and international interaction and how the supply chain will be impacted.
